My parents had been living in the apartments at Daughters of Miriam for
three years. When my mother became ill and had to move to the nursing home facility,
my father continued to be supported by his apartment neighbors and the staff and felt comforted to know that he was part of a close community. In my 30 years practicing medicine I have rarely seen such a supportive and caring environment.
